HOLIDAYS

               There are many interesting and different holidays in  the world. All of them have their beauty and importance. People celebrate holidays in different countries of the world on different ways.

           The New Year is one of the great holidays in the years. People celebrate this holiday on the thirty first December. There are New Year parties at schools, colleges, and offices and in the houses. People also have family parties at home on New Year’s Eve and they usually invite the guest. People do not go to bed at the same time as usual on New Year’s Eve and they wish health and happiness each other at 12 o’clock.

          International Women’s Day, March 8, is a day of international solidarity of women. In all countries of the world women celebrate the 8^th of March as a day of solidarity in the struggle for peace. We usually give present to women, congratulate them and wish success and happiness.

          May Day on the Fist of May is the great international holiday of workers. May Day was born in the United States of America more than one hundred years ago. But it is celebrated in all countries of the world. It is a festival of lab our and demonstrates working-class unity. On May Day there are demonstrations in many cities and towns and there is music and dancing in the streets and squares.
